Apple iPhone 5s: Full Review

Apple is giving Android the finger with the iPhone 5s. And we're not just talking about the fingerprint sensor beneath the screen. The new A7 chip inside this unassuming beast promises to run circles around the Galaxy S4 and other devices. Apple's sequel ($199 for 16GB) also features a beefed up camera with larger pixels as well as a new dual flash system. Then there's iOS 7, which sports a colorful yet clean new design that looks like an antidote to cluttered Android skins. iPhone 5c Reviewed

Apple's iPhone just got a splash of color. While it has the same internal components as last year's iPhone 5, the new iPhone 5c comes wrapped in a brightly colored plastic shell. Available for $99 in one of five bold hues, the 5c also runs iOS 7, Apple's equally colorful operating system, which is more functional than its predecessor. Overall, the iPhone 5c is easily one of the top smartphones selling for less than $100.

LG G2 (T-Mobile) Reviewed

Business in the front, party in the back. That could be the LG G2's catchphrase, because all of this Android phone's physical buttons are on its back. That isn't the only way this flagship ($99 down, $21 per month on T-Mobile) seeks stands out from the Galaxy S4 and HTC One. A very fast Snapdragon 800 processor -- a first for U.S. phones -- enables all sorts of multitasking goodness. Add in a 13-MP camera with optical image stabilization and the G2 should win over plenty of shoppers, or at least those willing to experiment with a new design.
